Lynn Krogh, president, NYYRC, stated, “Though we are relieved that New York is a large state, and our new Senator will have to balance the needs of the long-term unemployment upstate with reverberating impact of the Wall Street implosion downstate, and we do not believe that Kirsten Gillibrand is up to this challenge. That being said, we are encouraged that Ms. Gillibrand has not strictly adhered to liberal dogma and hope that she will rise to the challenge of delivering what will be best for the people of New York.” has at least chosen someone who has been elected to a public office, we are disappointed that he has not chosen someone with greater experience.
