Reminder - Meeting Tonight

Please join us at the NYYRC May Monthly Meeting tonight, beginning at 7PM at the Union League Club, located at 38 East 37th Street. Business attire required. Please check your coat at the door and turn off your cell phone.

The featured speaker will be 20/20 co-anchor John Stossel, who will discuss issues addressed in his recently released book, "Myths, Lies and Downright Stupidity: Get Out the Shovel - Why Everything You Know is Wrong."

In "Myths, Lies and Downright Stupidity," Stossel expands on his popular 20/20 "Myth" segments. He exposes popular myths purported by media who distort or disregard facts and unearths such truths as: DDT and food irradiation save lives, pesticide residues are relatively harmless, that there is no 'cancer epidemic' caused by chemical pollution and that bottled water is not better than tap.

Mr. Stossel will be signing books after the meeting. We will only have a limited number of books for sale at the meeting, so please bring a copy with you or email rsvp@nyyrc.com to reserve a copy.
