Kennedy Drops Out of "Race" to Replace Hillary in Senate

Caroline Kennedy has withdrawn her name from consideration to replace Hillary Clinton in the U.S. Senate. This is a big relief, because frankly Kennedy has no business serving in the United States Senate.

She cited "personal reasons" in letting Gov. David Paterson know about her decision to withdraw. In political parlance, this means that she probably knew for one reason or another that she was in fact not going to get the nod and she was just trying to save face.
