WSJ Covers RNC on Twitter

The Wall Street Journal has a front page article today on how some in the RNC are actively using Twitter. According to the article:

“Some Republicans worry that all the tech talk is overshadowing more fundamental tasks, like recruiting new candidates and broadening the party's appeal.”

Why should one need to overshadow the other? Why not a two-pronged approach to increasing the party’s presence and influence online, while also reenergizing the party’s message? The RNC desperately needs to work on its appeal, but it is also important that the RNC doesn’t end up even more behind in technology when the next election rolls around.
