HOSTS MARK KRIKORIAN

AT AUGUST GENERAL MEETING

New York, NY - The New York Young Republican Club will hold our August monthly meeting on Thursday, August 16, 2007. The featured speaker will be columnist, author and policy expert Mark Krikorian.

Mark Krikorian is the executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, a think-tank that promotes stricter immigration standards and enforcement. Krikorian also serves as a regular contributor to the National Review and is a regular participant of National Review's "The Corner". Before joining CIS in February 1995, Krikorian was an editor at The Winchester (Va.) Star, as well as editor of a publication on marketing via electronic media and of the monthly newsletter of the Federation for American Immigration Reform. Krikorian received his B.A. from Georgetown University and his M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
